The branding for this Pilates studios includes a print ad, a t-shirt design, a business card, letterhead and envelope design. The inspiration behind everything was ink blots, as fluid as your body during pilates. The logo was already designed, but I based my color choices from it.
Guess whose wedding invitation design got into Ceremony Magazine?! The lovely Rose & William wanted to incorporate their camera theme into their wedding invitation with a vintage feel. This was the outcome, and it was turned into a 2 page spread in Ceremony magazine (Los Angeles edition, February 2014).
Do you ever a make a variety of logo options and think "Just one more...they probably won't pick it, but it's just for fun" and then BAM! They pick it. Here is a logo design inspired by the "pom pom" trend in recent years. It was picked for its simplicity and does not assume any particular industry (other than suggested by its name). Scotland yard, a local favorite pub of mine, attracts rock and roll fans, and neighborhood beer drinkers. Rebranding included a logo, business card, posters, and a set of coasters. The posters focused on iconic British rock bands with an irreverent sense of humor, and stencil (and then spray painted) address and phone number. The logo uses a bannister wig serving up a beer on a record. The coasters suggest you were too inebriated in the night before to remember who you may have met. Research included tongue-in-cheek British poets, and using a scratch board for the hair effect on the wig.

This was my first time using caligraphy and Font Lab software to create a font...a combo of different realms, hand made and digital. Maybe something wacky like combining the ideas of Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath lyrics and "Wizard Of Oz" words.
